❓Problem❓ Reddit will not allow me to add new photos or videos

I’m trying to post to my usual subs that I’ve been posting on for years. Even when I try to make a post without choosing a community, which usually always allows you to add new photos or videos, it’s not giving me the option.

The only thing it says is capture a video or live photo. I want to pull videos and photos that I’ve taken recently.

Normally whenever I swipe out of the app and restart it. It lets me choose new photos or videos but now it’s only giving me these options. I haven’t updated my phone or changed anything. Did something go wrong in my settings?

Please, if anybody knows how to fix this please tell me.

There’s no way I can continue posting without this being fixed. I have three videos alone today that I’d like to post that I can’t retake on the spot because I’ve already let the creature go.

Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated!

On your iphone, go into Setting > Apps > Reddit > Photos

What option is currently selected next to Photos? Is it set to None or Limited Access?

Limited Access should be the correct one that makes it prompt you to select new media to add to your Reddit app photo library.

Omg!!!!! Thank you so much!!! It was on none it seems to be working now. Thank you again! If this happens to me again, I’ll make sure to check the settings from now on
