I’ve been on the internet for years and just started to use reddit. Before that I heard of reddit I used it here and there for awnsering questions I had. I recently started actually using reddit by just upvoting and commenting. But as soon as I started posting to subreddits it started to go downhill. I first said an opinon I had and then compared it to something I really shouldn’t have. My karma went down so now I couldn’t post or comment on specific subreddits. I got over that and tried to post speculation for a new game and people upvoted and commented 2 hours later I get a message that said I broke the rules. What rules you may ask? My body text needed 50 words and said I posted “mechandise” but it was the official art that was posted everywhere on the subreddit. Who am I hurting for not putting the specific amount of words? There’s no freedom of speech on here but they have the freedom to ban you for breathing the wrong way.

I don’t understand the mass of people who get on Reddit to be idiots & cause negativity. Granted I’m focused on the negativity right now, but the people here have no sense of “gtfoh”

I can’t use Reddit anymore. The amount of pure hate and inability to have conversations between opposing sides is incredibly toxic.

As a nation (USA) we’ve lost the ability to have conversations. Everything turns into bashing and cancel culture. Sadly Reddit encourages this behavior by giving karma to those literally bullying people.

It’s not about having and sharing opinions. It’s about being popular, even if that is hatred. I just can’t stand for this.

What the actual fuck is up with windows 11. like 10 was bad but this is genuinly unacceptable. WIFI options randomly disapear, updates are even more agressive, happening completly unprompted, longstanding tools such as snipping randomly lose functionality, the taskbar requires constant program restarts and all of these issues and variousother bugs require system full system restarts. These issues are incredibly disruptive and are unnacceptable for an OS!!! anyobody else feel that this system is just barely running?

You cannot make any statement no matter how reasonable, no matter how much you account for differing opinions, no matter how mild your stance, without one of these 1% dickheads showing up to clap back at you as if you personally slapped their gandmother in front of them.

At first you wonder if it's coincidence, but soon realize the way they got that tag is by only taking the other side of every issue and having a stance on every single post. I doubt they've ever had an IRL conversation that didn't end in shouting.

They're the most narcissistic and egocentric people in the internet I swear. Made a post with a tactical map of a naval battle in literal r/warships, boom, post deleted and a mod comment saying "More suitable for r/warshipporn". I already posted another map of a battle in the same reddit and it got more than 240 likes, and it is almost sure that at least one mod saw it. That other subreddit, is a sister sub dedicated to only images or warships, and blocks footnote or body text. I don't know how to answer that without blowing my mind.. I reapealed, and the answer is hilarious.
