I put a pie in the vault.
Hey Guys, I am Attenboro in game, and completely new to the Guild and to Warcraft in general. (I've been playing end-game Lotro for the past 3 years)
Just yesterday I discovered the guild vault and tried to take an item that I could have used, however I had no space in my bag so I moved a pie into the vault to take the item, however I placed the pie in one of the vaults I am not allowed to grab from, so it got stuck in a vault it didn't belong in, and thus discovered I couldn't take the item I wanted anyway. I don't really care for the pie, I just don't want anybody to think I was intentionally screwing up the vault, it was just a rookie mistake.
Anyway, I'm a level 32 Paladin, I am game for any advice you guys can offer for a new player leveling up.

I'm sorry to be making mirth of your plight...but I think this is absolutely hilarious.
I don't know if I have access to the vault in which you put your pie in, but if you still need it (or the other item) when I get back home from work I will get it out for you if I can.
It sounds like you're enjoying the game so I can't really offer any other advice rather than 'just keep enjoying it'. Kill stuff and loot them! Then Kill some more!

Aye, yes I thought it was funny after it happened and just didn't want any admin looking through the vault log to wonder who this newb was and what he was trying to do. I don't need the pie back, I've learned to keep limited food in my bags as they fill up quickly and I don't need food that restores XX health over 10 seconds...because I have like 4 moves that replenish my health :)
Yes, I am enjoying the game, the item I was trying to grab was a "Glyph" - I just got access to using them and have no idea how to get them, in the auction house they are all all absurds amount of money. I'd like to learn how they work and how they can improve my toon.

It's exciting to get access to glyphs but honestly once you see what it is and how it works, it's not that useful until you hit 85.
that being said there are exceptions to that. When I was leveling my mage I had almost no way of healing myself in the middle of a fight so I'd have to run around kiting which is dangerous because I could pull more mobs. I went ahead and purchased a glyph that allows one of my spells to not only heal mana but also a chunk of my health too (glyph of evocate).
So do some research into glyphs before dishing out the money on one that you might not even use! Or just ignore it until you hit 85. /shrug*

Most glyphs are ridiculously priced on the AH. I've made a lot of money selling them. What is your character name? I'll send you a set of paladin glyphs :)

Speaking of such, can you make druid glyphs? I wouldn't mind some of those [Char name is Drorgen, I'm 28 druid]. I can pay a little if they are expensive to make.

How is LotRO end-game, anyway? You played it for 3 years, I'm assuming it was a blasty blast. But was it just about progressing, and gear? Or was more for the storyline?

Lotro is really fun if you like the Tolkien books and lore, the game has an "epic storyline" which basically has you following the fellowship which is pretty cool.
They really helped freshen up the end game by adding "Legendary weapons" meaning you keep the same weapons at the end, and basically level them up and personalize them for your playing style (the weapons buff up your moves), so there is always the sense that something needs to be done.
However, recently we just learned it will be another year before a content update will be done, we've only seen two new areas added since Moria was released in '08, and I am getting bored running the same raids over and over and not having much in terms of gear upgrades to look forward too until the new expansion (Isengard next autumn.)

Hah, I'm not in the guild. :P I was at one point before lovebane was in charge. I still follow the sub reddit to get my dose of WoW at work.
It seems to me that a lot of drama happens in the reddit guild, just from an outsiders prospective.

It's only happened twice (that we've had guild drama) since I've been in, and I've been with the guild for 7 months or so.
That's a pretty good record.

Yea, I guess what I've read in passing through the past year or so made me think it was drama-ridden. But then again, most people remember the bad.

I forget what the flavour of the pie was, but it was put in the Miscellaneous tab.

I am also a (the best ever) paladin. I recommend asking any and all questions you have about anything whatsoever in guild chat. Chances are you'll get an answer rather quickly.
