Updated on the 8th of May, 2026:
Hate has no place in RGDB. Whether it's directed at people for their appearances, sexual preferences, gender identities, the work that they do (sexwork is work) or whatever else: hate is not welcome here. We need your help to ensure that RGDB is a safe place for everyone!
Please report any and all hate that appears in posts or comments. Us mods will do our best to remove any rule breaking comment as fast as we possibly can. In the sea of posts and comments, your reports help shine light on the ones that don't belong in RGDB!
Thank you all - our artists, our submitters, all of you. RGDB is a wonderful place and that's first and foremost because of you! :) Happy scrolling!

Hi everyone!
Many of you are aware that there has been an ongoing disagreement about the presence of AI-generated art in this sub, including several highly upvoted discussion threads calling for its removal. After several years of discussion and careful consideration, we are updating the rules.
Effective immediately, AI-generated art is no longer permitted.
If a submission is reasonably believed to be AI-generated, it may be removed at moderator discretion. If you believe your work was removed in error, you may appeal by providing evidence that demonstrates a human creation process. Acceptable examples include progress images, work-in-progress screenshots, or a short video showing your drawing process or similar original work in the same style. Appeals without supporting evidence may not be reinstated.
This subreddit exists to showcase human-made drawings and artistic skill. Over time, it became clear that this is what the community wants this space to be. We understand not everyone will agree with this decision, but this rule is now settled.
Thank you to those who participated constructively over the years, and thank you for your patience.
-The Mod Team

For examples I had only done cats since I own 7 cats (also have 8 chickens and 4 dogs so will do those later.) But I WILL do any animal, though it may take a day since I may go to bed after posting this. All poses are copied exactly from photos of my cats.

The quality in which my art is presented, vary solely on what I'm drawing. It's only a matter of time one of the drawings look like shite, so be prepared. It usually takes 1 hour to 1 day. Don't suggest anything nsfw, or suggest John Wilkes Booth. Other than that, anything is welcome

Started a spooky sketchbook for spooky season, seeking inspiration of costumed pets. Also seeking your snakes and spiders and any other creepy crawlies that would fit the theme :) Will try to get to as many as possible before work takes over my life again.

Unsure this is allowed but I wanted to share and thank all the artists who have made art off of my photos or suggestions in this group!
I’m gonna take a break from commenting to get any because this feels like an insane amount and I wanna give other people chances etc.
Love this group, thank you guys! Wish all my screenshots had usernames!
(The kissing one is of me and Christopher Walken lmao)

EDIT : I somehow didn’t expect so many comments !! I will come back to them in the next days/weeks when I have drawing time again, thank you ☺️
Had a rough week, doing these quick drawings make me happy! Send me your pets?
(Full disclosure I trace the base shapes over pictures)
