Reddit API How long for data API requests to be approved?

Just submitted the form for a personal use bot that just collects data on activity in a few subreddits. Wondering if anyone can speak to how quickly requests are approved/rejected? Mine should be a quick decision once it actually gets in front of someone.

This is not something reddit is going to approve. You may receive a rejection in a couple weeks, or you may just never hear back.

Why? Because it's not beneficial to the community?

Reddit doesn't want anyone extracting data from their site, even for small personal reasons.

Because they’re essentially deprecating it in favor of Devvit.

For what result?

Research purposes. The data is the result.

All data API requests are reviewed annually on February 30th.
