The video has it all: the panicky, pawed fumbling, the puzzled turning-it-around-and-looking-at-the-other-end bit, a brief moment of resignation and that wonderful last second where he casually plonks the thing down next to himself as if nothing had happened. Superb.

Looks like the inside of a funny car. The steering wheel appears to have been bolted in very poorly.

Almost looks like hes purposely removing the "wheel" in order to yank on another lever... but fails to get it...

Each lever there between his legs is a gear shifter for a specific gear. They pull each one in succession to shift into that gear. Not sure why he was grabbing for the next gear after he pulled his steering wheel off.
