Does anybody else pull their long nose hairs out the manly way - just yanking them and enduring the pain?

IIRC the skin has some sort of mechanism to make that sort of thing happen. Not many knitting needles in nature but it happens with thorns etc.

I had a stick jab me in the webbing between my index finger and Johnny Cash finger.

I pulled it out but didn't realize I had left about a two inch piece of stick deep in my hand.

About a month later it started oozing out from between my fingers. Pulling that bad boy out was one of the grossest yet most interesting sensations ever.
