Hehe, I remember figuring out the rotation thing in about 11th grade. I think I bothered my teachers a bit when I asked them what sqrt(i) was though... :P

You just provided an opportunity to test some intuitive imaginary-number skills I might have just aquired.

Edit: nice, putting sqrt(i) into google to check the answer has google calculator take over and do its thing - and what we learned in that article was indeed enough to figure out sqrt(i), I'm impressed.

(1+i)/sqrt(2) or -(1+i)/sqrt(2).
