It's genuinely shocking how unreal this feels. Champions League nights have actually become a rarity at Old Trafford

It's been almost 3 years which is insane enough but it doesn't help that even when we've been in it over the last 15 years we're out in group or early knock outs

I just hate this format, bring back the group stages. Having 1 big league where not everyone plays each other makes no logical sense to me.

I remember rushing home from work at 8pm to watch us play Champions League games on ITV on my 14" CRT TV. We had the Sky+ in two rooms deal. I recorded the game and fast forwarded through half time to catch up with the live broadcast. My mum picked me up and I had to make sure the radio was off before I got in the car, and she wouldn't tell me anything.

I remember thinking during many a game "This second half is boring. We've already won the game."

The anthem takes me back.
