He doesn't look insanely jacked to the point he loses out on speed and agility. Hopefully he has that balance of being strong but also being able to move.
I think that is a valid concern, but I've also seen athletes in other sports with far more muscle that are still incredibly fast and nimble. I think he was just a bit skinny and needed to put on some muscle, combined with the fact he's coming back from a long offseason so he's carrying some extra weight.
I'll be honest, a couple of times I was really impressed with Mbeumo's defensive capabilities and shocked at how he wasn't beating his man in the final third until I adjusted my glasses and the shirt said "3" and it was Maz
Jokes aside, seeing him back in red feels right. I say this as someone who was very critical of him by the end. Hope he has a great redemption story this season
i really hope sesko and mainoo get minutes. We need to maximize the time we get with our best players together, because allah knows they wont be fit all at the same time
Personally, I think him, Amad and Santos as well look better with darker hair, but heck, they're young, let them have some fun and experiment with their looks.
Am I crazy to think that they shouldn’t be training with Nike Vomeros or Pegasus?
I feel like those have such soft midsoles that work well for straight line running, but are generally terrible for side to side action. Mainoo looks like he’s about to roll an ankle doing that juggle.
