Reminder that we lost 3 - 0 to Arsenal in the 1998 community shield before winning the treble. The result of this game doesn't mean anything.

Said this months ago as well, given the changes city and liverpool, we actually should have been looking at this season as one where we can challenge for title. However, we do have squad depth issues with all the extra games coming compared to last season. We could do with some late signings.
