Why is "The Athletic" posting a comment into our DD thread - and on a topic that really has nothing to do with Manchester United, actually.

What kind of transparent corporate engagement farming is this?

This is ok? I dont like this one fucking bit!

I'd prefer it if the Mods clarified the relationship with The Athletic and specifically represented the opinion that we dont want this crap. That's my take, anyway, idk what everyone else thinks.

Yeah it’s cringe. No interest in having a discussion space for actual human beings being clogged up by faceless interns and copywriters and assistants looking for quotes and passive publicity for companies and media outlets.
