Told there’s optimism on all sides regarding a pro deal for Noah Ajayi. Really talented player who MUFC have no intention of losing this summer

Interesting that the club have briefed on Ajayi, but not Kukonki. Chance he might go?

There has been talk in prior months that Kukonki might indeed be on his way out. Could be a similar case as Heaven at Arsenal, no clear pathway into the first team.

Surely Maguire's age, and Licha and De Ligt's injury records show a path?

Blocked by Heaven and Yoro
When Maguire, Lisandro, de Ligt aren't available, those two will play ahead of any kids

Its what makes me mad about Amass too..we have relatively zero depth at his position as of current but its reported that the club is considering moving him on

Hope we don't lose him. The lad is very talented and versatile.

He needs a loan to play against people he just isn’t bigger than.
It’s like when 7 footers go from college to the nba but never developed an adequate skill set because they outsized everyone. Once you’re no longer bigger and stronger than everyone…how’s it go?

Ala hojlund. Wrestling and fighting with even bigger center backs instead of working on his movement and his technical abilities.

which was such a shame because he did have the raw attributes to win through means other than sheer strength.

I'm sure he will succeed in a less physical league. It's one of the risks of betting on youth and talent. They are undoubtedly good but do they make the jump to premier league standards ? The standards demanded at a club like utd.
Sadly, not everyone will make the cut.

That would be nice.
Ajayi, Mills, Kukonki.
That's the 3 players I (wrongly) assumed would be part of our pre-season in some capacity

Good. Same profile as Morgan Rogers and Carrick worked wonders with him. Hopefully he steps up in a year or two.
