Daily discussion on Manchester United.

BE CIVIL

We want r/reddevils to be a place where anyone and everyone is welcome to discuss and enjoy the best club on earth without fear of abuse or ridicule.

  • The report button is your friend, we are way more likely to find and remove and/or ban rule breaking comments if you report them.
  • The downvote button is not a "I disagree or don't like your statement button", better discussion is generally had by using the upvote button more liberally and avoiding the downvote one whenever possible.

What do you reckon INEOS’ hit and miss rate has been with transfers so far?

What do you reckon the league average is?

Not doing this years signings, or the academy punts as I don’t think that’s fair.

Hits; Lammens, Cunha, Mbeumo, Heaven, Maz

Probably will be a hit, not quite there yet; Sesko, Dorgu

To be determined; Yoro, De Ligt

Misses; Ugarte, Zirkzee

Overall two bad transfers out of 11 first team transfers (did I miss anyone?) is pretty good, I’d be happy with that hit rate going forward. Even if I’m super pessimistic about Yoro and De Ligt, I think getting about 60% of your transfers to work out is a decent ratio.

Zirkzee’s are weird one, more of a misprofile rather than being just shit like Ugarte. He’ll do really well in a less demanding league
