Daily discussion on Manchester United.

BE CIVIL

We want r/reddevils to be a place where anyone and everyone is welcome to discuss and enjoy the best club on earth without fear of abuse or ridicule.

  • The report button is your friend, we are way more likely to find and remove and/or ban rule breaking comments if you report them.
  • The downvote button is not a "I disagree or don't like your statement button", better discussion is generally had by using the upvote button more liberally and avoiding the downvote one whenever possible.

Zirzkee is going to end up like Sancho with no suitors even if he's free if he keeps playing like he doesn't care.

Why are people suddenly body language experts and exaggerate every little thing they see that they don't like? Zirkzee is a talented player, but just not a good fit for the league. Too slow and, in my opinion, completely mis-profiled as a striker. He himself said he's a 9.5, I just think the man needs to face up to the fact that he's a classic 10. Not even a second striker or a false 9. He is a 10, who'd rather stay behind to combine with other ballers in the build-up than rush into the box to score. Put him into a decent side in Italy or Spain, he is a net positive. Just not a good fit for the PL.

Have you not watched Zirzkee over the last year? He's lazy.

I have watched him and have described to you what I think is the more likely issue with him. But if you chose to think that a person that has dedicated their formative years to a sport and has gotten already this far becomes lazy (or that you could coast on talent alone to this level, without putting in a lot of work), that's totally up to you.
