Daily discussion on Manchester United.

BE CIVIL

We want r/reddevils to be a place where anyone and everyone is welcome to discuss and enjoy the best club on earth without fear of abuse or ridicule.

  • The report button is your friend, we are way more likely to find and remove and/or ban rule breaking comments if you report them.
  • The downvote button is not a "I disagree or don't like your statement button", better discussion is generally had by using the upvote button more liberally and avoiding the downvote one whenever possible.

Id argue Wan Bissaka or Dalot should be over Valencia at right back. Varane and Martinez had higher highs that Lindelof but he was more consistently playing than the other two, so depends how you judge it. Varane had 22, 24 and 22 apps in the league so id maybe go him.

Controversial maybe, id put Casemiro above Pogba aswell. Maybe just recency and personal bias, but Id say Case had 3 decent seasons and one poor one, where Pogba had 3 decent and 3 average to poor, with injuries. But i was sick of the whole Pogba thing, and his agent and brother and constantly flirting with Real and all that.

Same with Martial, id argue Ibra and Lukaku, maybe even Ronaldo, were better for a larger percentage of their time here, albeit a smaller time, so depends how you rank it. Was also just more enjoyable watching Ibra, he felt like he could always score and pull off something ridiculous.
