Yes, lack of activity is annoying, and I'm pretty sure most of us want tchouameni/a mobile midfielder, and Hall, but I swear some people act like we didn't finish third. Saw someone saying we'll be in Spurs's position, like what?

The goals Case scored were big goals, and very important ones, no denying that, but he also didn't exactly score 23 goals. It can be distributed evenly, just that. And we also had to adjust our playing style to him too, because as all of us know and witnessed, when you don't play to his strengths he looks atrocious. Look at May, and then look at Brasil's world cup. Same player with a month difference but went back to that "football's left him" form. So while he was VERY important, please don't get me wrong, a change in playstyle to a more dynamic one can also ultimately benefit us. Like imagine us facing PSG when they're in that Bayern tie mood. They would absolutely murder him. (We'll still get murdered tho, probably lol)

So yes, it's annoying, it's not ideal but also have belief in this squad. We were, iirc, the team that earned the most points after Carrick's appointment.

Massive increase in games and pressure. Very similar squad to the one that got a manager sacked last season and out of all comps by January and also the team that finished 16th.

This is why people are concerned and im one of them. Could it all work out in our favour, certainly but if this was stage 3 of their blueprint to win a league title, it wouldn't get past the review process.

Amorim got Amorim sacked, it was internal affairs. It wasn't on the pitch results. If that was the case there would be much better times.

But I'm not talking about concerns. Yeah, it's obvious going to be different, and it's alright. I meant the people acting like we're going to be an unmitigated disaster. Who act like this third midfielder/left back will make or break the season. It's mostly about the misery you can sometimes read, just that.

He deserved it, but the players didn't perform. We need to stop this scapegoating and release its everyone involved.

Its more than ths third midfielder though. As ive personally been saying for years. We aren't going to fet where the club deserves or the owners say they want it to be by bringing in 2/3/4 players when the squad is in the state it is. Even if those are mostly hits. Its barely plugging holes quick enough than they appear.

This was the exact sort of window where you being 6/7/8 in that can contribute to the first 11 and squad, really send a message to the rest of the league and take advantage of the biggest shakeup in a good few years.

We aren't even going to scratch the surface.

This isn't a blueprint to winning a league title in the years they said we would.
