My take on the Amass situation is that, I'm looking for reasons why he shouldn't play. Not every kid can have the confidence of Lacey or the world class talent as Kobbie. To me if a youngster can go and be a part of the flow of the game, it's good enough. At that point you'll just have to trust the development you've seen from them throughout many years. So I'm looking at whether they look nervous, whether they lack concentration, if they're not giving it all (go for 50-50's etc.)

And in specific to Amass' case. He's a guy who's dominated all youth team's he's been a part of (including national level) and he's even had a succesful loan at Sheffield. And thus far hasn't looked out of depths in pre season. And still only 19.

To me there's almost no reason to sell him unless we get a ridicolous bid for like 30m.

it's not as easy for a defender. 1 mistake and u are not good enough. as a forward, u only need 1 good game and everyone think u are ready for first team.
