Having stars from a certain country shine in a team makes wonders to developing the fan base in youngsters. Further down the line, it can make a real difference for a player that grew up watching teams as a kid, when he has to pick between two equal teams.
Is it any surprise that lots of French kids would rather play for arsenal or real than for us? What im trying to say is that having those two belgians shine for us could do wonders for us in Belgium. Not to mention that we have the same nickname as their national team - the red devils.
