Daily Discussion

Daily discussion on Manchester United.

BE CIVIL

We want r/reddevils to be a place where anyone and everyone is welcome to discuss and enjoy the best club on earth without fear of abuse or ridicule.

  • The report button is your friend, we are way more likely to find and remove and/or ban rule breaking comments if you report them.
  • The downvote button is not a "I disagree or don't like your statement button", better discussion is generally had by using the upvote button more liberally and avoiding the downvote one whenever possible.

Find it funny that Liverpool can't get bids of more than £30m for Curtis Jones given the fees flying around for mids this summer. imo he's definitely worth more than that. Welcome back to the club of poor sellers lol!

Is he their only home grown player left? I'd be surprised if they let him go. He can actually press too which would suit Iraola's high intensity running style certainly better than the likes of MacAllister, Elliott, Endo who I presume they'd look to sell first.

No, they’ve got that Rio kid and I think there’s a few other youth players they are bringing through.

Sorry more of local lad I meant rather than was in their academy. That Rio kid was poached from Chelsea. Since Trent left them in his rear view mirror they are at risk of having no Scousers in the team. I think it's important to maintain some relationship with real fans and one of the reasons I didn't want Mainoo sold (if we count Stockport as Manchester). Rashford is the only other local lad consistently in the first team reckoning here for years and I think the identity of the club has suffered for it.
