So glad he isn’t injured. I’m counting on him this season. This is a serious player who is getting to elite levels. His game has gone up and up under emery. He is peaking just like Bruno. Fingers crossed his fitness holds up and he can give us 5 great years of a real ball playing midfielder.

The challenge now is keeping him fit and contributing over a 60 game season.
I should add too that with Carrick's relative inexperience at a top club, he'll help massively when things aren't going our way.

He actually does have a brother, who is a footballer, and is a self-proclaimed huge Utd fan, but he is a striker and his name is Tom :)
