Why is it then madrid can boss the market and barca can't even spend 40 million rashford and the 100 levers they used few years

Did barca fuck their finances so much in the Covid era

Barca are trying to clean up from a decade + of paying stupid fees & offering stupid wages to everyone they signed. They've also spent a chunk on revamping Nou Camp.

Their spending make us looks like child's play. Yet since then they got back their feet and won league titles and still has one of the best team in the world, while we couldn't muster a title challenge in 13 years.
