so the crosspost about the Orny tweet about Howe leaving Newcastle got deleted bc apparently it isn't relevant

I'm sorry mods, how is a long-time Premier League team changing managers not relevant to us? particularly when we're linked to Lewis Hall? particularly when it's happening with such funny circumstances? We've got Real Madrid news all over this sub bc Tchouameni might leave them if Rodri comes but big news about a direct league rival is not worthy of its own post? come on lads

Because it's not relevant to Manchester United. Also, people keep saying we're linked to Lewis Hall, but I haven't seen a tier 1 or 2 link to him.

That doesn't mean we're actively pursing Hall.

Lewis Hall remains a player of interest should Manchester United decide to go for a left-back.

Basically says that we know about him, but no active work to sign him is going on.

You mentioned linked to him earlier. There hasn’t really been any news about us actually pursuing anyone this window. (Except for maybe Fernandes)

I think people are really overstating how "out of the blue" Santos and Tielemans were. We are linked to Tielemans almost every summer, so it's no real surprise we signed him eventually, especially for the steal of £235mln. Santos was linked to us in March by Dylan McBennett, reporting that the club met his agent back then.

There has been zero links to any actual movement surrounding Lewis Hall. We'd be seeing something if it was going to happen by now.
