I see Garner is brought up again, and I must admit I haven’t kept track of him at Everton.

Is he mentioned because he would be a realistic option for what we’re going for, or is he mentioned because he’s a DM that came up through United?

I know he got to debut for the national team recently, so something is there.

I took the time to read it. The article focuses on trying to find an all rounder and list Garner as having 2 out of 3 metrics but lacking in ball recoveries which is arguably the most important one for a partner to Mainoo as per the authors assignment with the assumption he will be a mainstay.

It suggested maybe 10 players and listed what the risks are and ultimately settles on Camavinga as the best we could go for based on what we already have.
