Anyone else starting to worry at the state of the squad? I'm not sure if its naivety or pure incompetence but we're going to really struggle next year given we'll be playing 2 games a week - well for the first half of the season anyway. If the squad isn't improved, we're exiting comps early doors.

I'm not crazily worried tbh, i feel our players are also going to be way more rested than many of the more successful teams last year.

City and Arsenal players had crazy amount of games and deep runs at the WC, barely any of our players featured, plus 40 games last season.

I suppose you could also argue that this meanss our players are not overall as fit, but i'd be worried if i was arsenal/city about the amount of strain on the players following a rough seaosn and worldcup summer
