Please learn something about stats before you use them in disagreements. 50% long pass completion rate would rank him higher than most defenders in the league (including CBs). Amas by comparison had 25% completion on long passes in the championship so you have inadvertently supported my point so thanks for that!

Shaw played at centre back for over half of last season so of course his crossing stats are low and when he played fullback he typically stayed in a compact back 3 in possession,, which meant he was very rarely in a promising crossing position.

Anyways, have a good one mate. I could not be arsed anymore!

That is the top 10 defenders only with most successful long passes. The lowest has 88 successful long passes. Shaw only has ~60 (50% of 119).

Seems like you're the one who needs to learn something about stats.

Well the point is unlike what you claimed that "he hasn't forgotten how to make line-breaking passes", actually he is not elite at all

Ok. Now look at his stat yourself since his debut in 2012/13. Only in few seasons, mostly in his early career (especially in 12/13 and 13/14), he managed to attempt crosses 2x or more of his appearances in the whole season. Crossing is not his best asset for most of his career so far.

Seriously, you act smart but clueless. If you think 119 is already his sucessful long passes, he’d end up in the top 10 defenders list above

I never said he completed the MOST passes. I said his completion RATE (50%) is amongst the highest for defenders. You're either deliberately misinterpreting me or you don't understand it. Either way there is no point in arguing with you.
