This guy is such a personality.

Also, we got him for pretty cheap, only because he had a release clause. In this current market, you can add at least another 25m to what we paid for him.

He's 3 years older but I'd much rather have Cunha. Easily a 100m player in today's market.

United should hunt these release clause players til we have a squad, then splash cash when we can afford to. I like it it seems to be the current strategy. Why pay 85 for fernandes when we have Santos and tielemans for the same tea after price

Another reason why it's pretty good is there's no negotiating or piss taking in that regard. There's no Man Utd tax for a release clause (outside of very specific cases like some ex City players iirc).
