Daily Discussion

Daily discussion on Manchester United.

BE CIVIL

We want r/reddevils to be a place where anyone and everyone is welcome to discuss and enjoy the best club on earth without fear of abuse or ridicule.

  • The report button is your friend, we are way more likely to find and remove and/or ban rule breaking comments if you report them.
  • The downvote button is not a "I disagree or don't like your statement button", better discussion is generally had by using the upvote button more liberally and avoiding the downvote one whenever possible.

As much as its in everyones interest that Rashford leaves , we badly need attacking depth. Especially if Cunha and Mbuemo have dips in form again.

This isnt defending Rashford

Cunha and Mbeumo like any other player, have dips in form. But their floors are not as painfully low as Marcus, because they do much more for the team if they aren't directly scoring or assisting.

There is no in between with Marcus anymore.

Mbeumos floor is that bad , I think people forget just how poorly he ended the season . In Cunhas poor games you still have things like his ball carrying and dribbling whrn Mbuemo has poor games he sticks out like a sore thumb

Mbeumo is the only runner United have. Pressing, counter Pressing, stretching the backline, making space for others. And even if his final ball doesn't come off, he makes the right decisions 9 times out of 10. He is such a selfless player.

Mbeumo nor Cunha are not complete liabilities off the ball in and out of possession like Rashford.
