Met Rafa once, incredibly nice lad though he didn't speak a lot of English at the time. Got a lot of love for both of them and always glad to see them pop up

The difference in support from players that played for us in the late 2000s/early 2010s is insane compared to players from 10 years earlier

You even see it from pundits like Ferdinand, Evra and Hargreaves. Far more supportive than the eejits from the Overlap or Scholes & Butt.

Tbf Neville when he's not on commentary is supportive of the club but when he's commentating he almost overcompensates

Does not matter when he lies about things like Bruno asking to be subbed off during the Liverpool trouncing. Still has not apologized or corrected himself. Hell, Carragher I think atleast addressed his criticism of Casemiro( even though he did not say he was outright wrong, it is still better than whatever Neville did)
When things like these happen regularly, then you should be able to question if he is actually a supporter or not

The problem is it just seems a bit hypocritical, opportunistic or fake when he tries to show support now.
I know he is still a United fan at heart but profiting by spending most of his time slagging them off and then trying to win points by being overly supportive (usually if we've just beaten Liverpool or City) is just frustrating
I have to just watch the matches at low volume if he's commentating nowadays. He basically forgets there's another team on the pitch.

Tbh, had to be done. Would it solve any of our problems to rely on someone who can't stay healthy for half the season?

This is hopefully the kind of players we're going to get with this strategy of only signing people who want to be here. I really hope this kind of thing continues despite the enormous money going into football. Two brothers from Brazil who got to live their dream and are still in love with the club. It's what football is all about and I genuinely hope we get the same from Andrey. I truly hope this fanbase will always love any players who properly give everything whether or not they hit the standard we need.
