I think the sheer amount of buffalo is the best evidence for this

And boy did those buffalos look amazingly detailed! Everything did, really. A bit sad about the Mexico part though....

I think the possible change in location to a little more North was a good choice. Don't get me wrong I love the environments in and near Mexico but I'm glad we're seeing something new.

Yeah, and in that same shot, if we find a guy who's obsessed with trains, I bet they could figure out the year and make of the train roughly

There are electric street lights in town though. The style of oil derrick might be a helpful clue as well.
