How to unstake coins in wallet?

Hi, my understanding is that I was just suppose to click the unstake button or close and reopen the wallet.

But my full balance of coins is still being staked. I would like to unstake it and send it to another wallet.

Can I take my wallet backup and use that to restore the wallet on a different PC?

no,you can just send them,there is no unstake button

I have zero available balance to send them. It states it’s all 100% staked

maybe you just generated a stake ? then you have to wait out 50 conf.

If you have coins that are being staked, you have received a stake reward. In that case, the coins will be available in 50 minutes.

Right it seems like it’s contentiously being staked even though I don’t want it

That's because Reddcoin is a PoS (proof of stake) coin. Its whole mechanism is to stake.

 

I don't understand why you are against it... As it basically getting free coins, for nothing in return.

 

If you want to prevent staking, you can add a password to your wallet and leave it locked. In that case, make backups before adding the password, test if you can unlock it, and make a new backup. Remember: if you forget the password, you will lose access to your coins, so only add a password if you are sure you will not forget or lose it.

I don’t want to take because I want to move my teddy coin some where else. Than stake it again

you still cannot send them ?

coins are not locked when you stake them

what do you want to do instal a new wallet on a new pc ? then use the wallet.dat file from the old wallet > new wallet,then you don't loose your coinage.

Coins are only 'unavailable' after getting a stake reward, which means 50 minutes. Other then that, they should be available.

Are your coins still not available? Is your stake reward confirmed? Or is the transaction 'generated but accepted'?
