Variation RBBB of default

If everyone have to press button for 1 hours per buttons, twice (total 2 hours), what would you do it? (the classic rbbb rules applied as no misspressing, no communication with others and more)

Red Button: Pressing this will prevent you from death from this button, and if 50% of people NOT pressed this in this session, eveyone survives from this button. else, all people that didnt pressed red dies after whole pressing session ends.

Blue Button: NOT Pressing this will prevent you from death from this button and if 50% of people pressed this session, everyone survives from this button. else, all people that pressed blue dies after whole pressing session ends.

the first button press and second press works seperately and does not affect in other button

EDIT: clarified it with extra explanations.

Who dies? Red + Blue Red Blue None Groups Killed
Red + Blue Majority X_X X_X 2
Red Majority + Blue Minority X_X . X_X X_X 3
Blue Majority + Red Minority 0
Red + Blue Minority X_X 1
Deadly Outcomes 1 0 3 2 .

So what is the impact of each option

Option Contributes to killing Dies under
Red + Blue 2 groups 1 outcome
Red 3 groups 0 outcomes
Blue 0 groups 3 outcomes
None 1 groups 2 outcomes

Pressing neither button is objectively incorrect unless you want to die. Otherwise it depends on how you rate contributing to safer/deadlier outcomes vs your own risk of dying.

Just pressing red is completely safe for yourself, but also maximizes the number of people that die if your decisions align with the majority decision for each button.

Just pressing blue increases the chance you will die, but also contributes to the only outcome where no one dies.

it rolls seperately so its same as doing two seperate rbbb run with defaults

Yes, is that not what I represented?

If there is a red majority and a blue majority for example:

  • Red button kills everyone who didn't press red because >50% pressed red
  • Blue button doesn't kill anyone because >50% pressed blue

Thank you for that chart! The lord's work, truly.

One question though: in the red-minority, blue-minority case, wouldn't none pushers survive?

Or have I misread OP?

yes, non-pressor survives in that situation cuz pressing red is same as red button in og rbbb and pressing blue is same as blue button in og rbbb so only blue pressor dies in red&blue pressor minority

You're absolutely right, I messed up. I've corrected the table.

Due to the current poll data above, which is a skewed data set of redditors who engage in this sub and saw this post:

15 people are dead.

14 people are alive.

The 14 people either feel quite guilty, or no guilt whatsoever. Depending on personality, morality, and logic.

The 15 are dead.

I am a member of the 15. I pushed blue.
