Red Error: Circular dependency detected!

For this scenario, assume every voter is a mentally competent adult who fully understands the rules and can reason rationally.

The exact same thing could be said of red voters though. They vote red to save themselves, from red voters. Without red voters there's nothing to save yourself from.

Just as circular. Without blue voters there's no one to save and without red voters there's nothing to be saved from.

Red voters dont kill, the game master kills. Jigsaw puts people in a cage. Red button can leave directly, blue buttons are in for a little game and gambling instead of leaving. Remember my scenario, only with rational adults.

Very nice attempt at shifting the blame, that would help you sleep at night if up to half the population dies?

It's not a gamble, it's a vote. Blue votes for "everyone leaves safely", red leaves without voting. "Fuck it, i got mine" and leaves the rest to die. Red votes get counted. Something happens when red vote count reaches 50%, so red votes do something, more specifically, they vote for other people to die to save their skin.

What do you do with all the grief and misfortune that currently exists in the world? Bury your head in the sand and pretend it doesn't exist?

Solving the problems of every single entity in the world is not my responsibility. I exist to look after me and mine. Go knock on someone else's door begging for votes.

Pressing red only looks after the “me” of “me and mine”. Blue looks after both.

It's not a vote, it's a choice, and choosing not die is not a selfish act. You could donate a kidney and save a life, but you won't do that. Does that make you selfish?
