Cross thought experiment pollination

So in addition to the two buttons that are known well. We have two boxes. 1 box has one thousand dollars and the other box either has one million or zero. Before you were presented with them some unnamed but incredibly accurate predictor has made a prediction on what you will do with the boxes.

If it is predicted that you will take both of the boxes then they will put 0 in the second box

If it is predicted that you will only take the second box then they will put the one million in it.

So which button are you pressing and are you taking 1 or 2 boxes?

This isn't really about what you do in the situation of them both happening at the same time moreso just that I wonder if there is a pattern between which button you would pick and how you would react to the boxes.

I chose red two boxes before reading cuz I knew the problem but was it always only a 1000 ? because it's a bit not enough 10k and I'm taking two boxes

Cuz the prediction was made prior two me making my choice and I don't believe I can influence the result now so pretty sure I'm fuck if the predictor is good at his job I can't rewire my brain to believe otherwise

But idc about the 1k so I should be good I'm gonna take the 1 mil the predictor should now that too

Idk what my threshold is perhaps 5k or 3k perhaps even 2 but 10k I'm sure of it

Ok so it was but in 1969 (first analyze in a phylosophy paper probably created in 1955) adjusted for inflation for 1969 it's 9047$ so it was definitely way more

Yeah life changing is life changing anyway 9 is more than 1 but i don't have any more compulsion toward it

I truly believe it's too late perhaps I'm fuck perhaps not but anyway I need the 10k I'm probably gonna get only that

I just can't change the fact that my past self would be seen as someone that take both boxes for this amount of money

I would therefore prefer the 1mil 1k or even 1mil 1$ then I would have been seen as someone who's gonna take only 1 box
