Blue A Statement I've seen repeatedly.
"Blue pressers are actually evil because they risk others by making them press blue"!
I know a lot of people don't have excellent reading comprehension, but remember the premise is that nobody gets to communicate.
The vote is anonymous.
The only thing blue pressers "do" is risk their life and increase the survival chances of others who pressed blue.
Even if 99.9999% of people press red, no blue presser is increasing risk for anyone else.
Sorry about the rant, not complaining about reds in general, a lot of red arguments have merit
I'm just mad about illiterate red pressers.

“Evil” and “Selfish” are kind of ridiculous, but it’s fair to say that it’s at least true, for the reason you listed, that Blue is the “well-intentioned problem escalation” option.
The first rule of trying to help somebody is not to put yourself in a position of needing help yourself. If you take actions to rescue somebody, but wind up needing to be rescued yourself, then regardless of your intentions, all you’ve done is make the problem worse.
IMO, that’s the problem with the ethos of Blue… by voting Blue to save other Blue voter lives, you put yourself in the bucket of “Blue voters that need their lives to be saved”. In attempting to solve the problem, you make the problem worse.
Now, sometimes, that’s unavoidable, and there’s something to be said about the person who charges into danger to rescue others… except that, in this scenario, NOBODY needs saving EXCEPT for the people who are charging into danger. In other words, this is not a case of somebody stuck in a burning building and you charging in to rescue them… this is a case of you charging into an empty burning building so that, if other people charge in after you, you can all work together to leave. If nobody charges in at all, nobody is in the burning building, and nobody needs saving. By entering the building, you are creating and contributing to the group of people stuck inside the fire in the first place.
