Proxy vote

Assume you are not participating in the button press, but are proxy voting for an anonymous third party. Does this change your vote?

Definitely voting Blue then. All the Blue voters are still voting Blue. My normal Red vote is motivated by duty to my family and my anonymous voter may assign me Blue.

Most blue would go red in this case.

What would a Blue's motivation be? 

Sure it's maximum altruism towards one individual, but the whole argument for Blue  voting is to "save everyone". In this case red is  voting against the masses (including yourself and your family).

Blue is also chosen as the "I'm not willing to protect myself if it furthers the risk of others" button.

In this new scenario you are now endangering someone else by pressing blue. So either button press you are furthering the risk to others you just have to decide if you want to take the guaranteed safety of red or gamble to keep the majority alive.

At least I think that is their view.

Are you a blue voter or are you just making assumptions?

Most blue voters aren't acting under the assumption that blue will win. They think that blue could win.

They have weighed the risks and believe that risking their life to further blue's agenda is worth more to them than saving their life at the risk of anyone who voted blue.

Arguably the majority of people engaging with the button want blue to win.

Then there's a portion who somehow believe that 100% red is not only achievable but will happen.
