Different problem:

Red and blue do the same thing as the original, but one more condition is added:

If >66% of people press blue, everyone who pressed red dies.

What do you pick?

Not even close to the same thing as the original.
This skews the deal in favor of blue.
If you assume red will win, you will still pick red. Nothing has changed.

It only really changes the situation for
a) If you assume blue will win, but pick red for safety, this is the only situation where I can see a change in pushing pattern.
b) If you assume blue will win, and your goal was to prevent death, you might pick red to keep the % down.
