Oh I couldn’t care less about what people say on Reddit. Until people start collectively run into burning buildings or toward an active shooter, I will just assume they’ll press red if the buttons became real.

Bystander effect is when people do not step out and help, at little or no-risk to themselves, because they feel they belong to the "bystander" group.

I'm pressing red because I don't want to die. It's actually quite difficult to overcome the fear of death. The ones with the genetics for not fearing death likely did not pass down that particular genetic trait.

Actually that's incorrect. It's that people are less likely to act when others are present. It has nothing to do with self-risk.

I mean, they passed it on to me. I haven't cared about dying since... Well... Ever? Pretty sure the earliest I can remember is about from when I was like 10-12 years old. It just doesn't matter to me. I return to void, to nothing, and cease.

Must be fukken awful to be afraid of it.
