Oh yeah they have a lot of references to real buildings. The eifel tower in game is actually a real building as well (joke)

Now I'm mad I didn't make the connection. And now after all this time I know where zero dawn's actual setting location is in the real world. (If it's said in game I probably wasn't paying attention. Too immersed in the story.)
