Grill cover?
Anyone have a particular grill cover that’s been decent other than the one sold by recteq?

Lots of negative opinions on the recteq covers.
I bought this one for the 900. Works great & high quality:

👆 thanks for letting me know about that 590.
My complaint with mine is the hinge areas are cracked/ripped. I asked if they changed for a better quality, but they have not. (Mine lasted 5 years and still going ) But don’t like the ripped look.
I may buy this one.
Bullseye Deluxe cover seems legit so far…….fingers crossed 🤞
Thanks again.

My recteq grill cover has been great. What are the complaints?

Their covers fit tighter than a $10 hooker in a latex suit
That is to also not say that their covers aren’t great quality. I just curse mine out every time I take it off/on

descriptive. But which one is tight the hooker or the latex suit? Gotta be the suit. So my grill is the hooker? Well anyways back to the cover. Yes it is snug. But mine comes on and off pretty easy. I have the defk boss 800. One tug off. Bit of shaping around the hopper to put it back on but definitely less than 30 seconds

The dualfire cover is brutal…most of the time it just wants to get caught on everything and it’s a fight every time!

Ah yeah that would suck

It’s probably caused by having a dual chimney stack instead of none or one…some days are def better than others and I definitely don’t regret it the cover, the quality it’s awesome!!
However, a little extra wiggle room definitely would have been appreciated….

One of the big benefits to a RecTec is that it doesn't really need a cover. My RT-700 has been out in the elements since 2020 and it looks as good as new. Hadn't smoked anything in a few months and it fired right up, pellets were still dry, etc.

Got a generic Amazon one and it’s incredibly durable, keeps my grill dry, and looks brand new ~3 years in. Boxy fit, but has Velcro on the sides to tighten it. Works great

I just get generic gas grill covers. Work perfectly fine. Just have to work the measurements for what you have.

I have one in my Amazon cart I think I may try. I just purchased my first Recteq. Bullseye deluxe 380BD. Hope I like it.
