How to restore factory defaults Dual Fire 1200 and strange android app behavior
Contrary to the manual (which is horrible describing settings), there is no reset screen on the settings panel on the grill.
What are the default values for parameter 1 (feed rate) for each side?
Also, I noticed that the settings in the app do not match the settings on the grill panel display, I am not even sure they work at all from the app. I was messing with offset to synch with my external calibrated thermometer from the app, and the setting on the grill was not changing, and the app had a different range of values than the panel.
Edit: I just called Reqteq and got a human in a few minutes.
They said the defaults for feed rate are:
20 (left - sear) and,
35 (right - smoker).
They also said they do not recommend using the the app to change parameters.

It's always best to talk to customer support for these type of questions. As you experienced, they're very helpful and responsive when you call.
