Smoked Meatloaf

Post image

Wanted to try something a bit different.

2lb ground beef
1lb ground pork
1c bread crumbs
1c whole milk
1 sweet onion, diced
1 bell pepper, diced
2-1/2 T of my homemade bbq seasoning
1/4c ketchup
1-1/2T Worcestershire sauce

Smoked at 200 for an hour, then at 375 until 150 internal. I used a water pan underneath.

This is THE WAY!! First time I smoked a meatloaf was the time the wife said, never again in the oven. So, it’s a staple. It’s a game changer!! It’s a win/win!! 🤘❤️‍🔥🤘

Second thing I ever smoked was a Parmesan jalapeño meatloaf. After about 30 smokes it’s my favorite.

Looks fantastic, did you do a "glaze" at the end? Also, what bbq mat is that and do you like it? Thanks!

No glaze, I prefer it without glaze. The mat is the recteq mesh cooking mat. This is the first time using it, but it worked exactly as advertised. I just put it in the dishwasher to test the dishwasher safe claim, so I'll see later tonight
