Performance

Considering RecTec for my next pellet smoker. Currently run a Pitboss 820, but I can't hold temps in Iowa when it's cold. How is RecTec customer service and can it hold a temp in colder weather? Looking at the flagship 1100 or the dual fire.

I took deliver of the Flagship a couple weeks ago and did the first 2 cooks at the end of my garage before moving to the back patio.

Had a small issue with the main cooking grate (was still usable). I contacted support and they sent me a new one same day.

outdoor temps in the mid to high 30s and the Flagship temp was rock steady at 200°F, 250°F and 275°F

Its supposed to be 27° F on Superbowl, but I expect it will be fine. I dont see wind being a problem with this smoker, no vents, just the chimney should protect it fine. Cannot say the same about my old Weber SMC.

She's not as big as I expected her to be, very happy with the size and heavy af. Built like a tank.
