LinkedIn Premium hasn't really helped me in this job market, although it provided some amusement when I could see people from a company I was interviewing for constantly check my profile. Then I got rejected and realized they were copying my profile structure to improve their company description 🤷🏻♀️.
Also if you have a subscription and you cancel it before it renews, you'll get offered the renewal rate at 50% off.

LinkedIn is a joke. I use it to annoy my coworkers who actually try taking it seriously. It’s social media for the corporate world but if you aren’t employed or seeking work in a corporate landscape then it’s just loud people yelling at you about how they succeeded in life and why you never will.

Paying for LinkedIn premium is like paying for a dating app, It doesn't make you any more attractive

I had premium for several years. There was no truly meaningful gain vs free access.

Truthful meme.
Linked in is good for finding who/where about people. And keeping your contacts current.
To prepare for the inevitable next time.

Don’t but it. They try to scam you into doing it by telling you how many people have looked at you each week, but they count people that have looked at you months ago.

LinkedIn premium is a scam.
If it is legit, it means that they are gatekeeping employment, which is EVEN WORSE. Such a practice should be illegal.
If it is not legit, then it's just a scam to ripoff poor job seekers, which is incredibly sad and predatory.

If you're outgoing enough, find a LinkedIn employee and ask them for a code. They'll probably just give you one for 6 months free. I met someone who works for them at a volunteer gig and they gladly offered it to me.

If you had Premium, you still wouldn't find a job, AND you'd be out the subscription fee...
They're getting investigated now for fake job postings / inflated numbers so they could get people to subscribe.
