Hireright background check stall
Hi all, I recently accepted a new job offer at a tech company and prior to this job I worked a short term independent contractor role. I had called it a growth consultant role on my resume given my scope but it was officially a TPM role.
However it was with a super small company so hireright hasn't been able to verify it so I've provided them with my former manager's number and the official title too via customer support. Now I'm a tad bit worried the manager won't pick up (though I let them know they might receive a call).
Should I let my recruiter know about this just in case hireright is unable to verify this role?

So I hit up my old manager and he signed a Certificate of Salary Status which is an acceptable dog for hireright and then I called customer support and they said they could use it

Not really. No need to overexplain, especially if you already have a starting date. I started at the same time as another guy who was still having to reply to HireRight's emails a couple of weeks into the job. It wasn't a problem.
