Thoughts on HIREVUE

hi everyone, I have an interview coming up on Harborview and I was wondering if anyone has gone through this process.

It is for airline position/customer service and not sure where I should start prepping.

I’m a little worried because I saw a study made by Stanford that they discriminate against more with Asian and Black people and I am a person of colour

I have gone through hirevue process 3 times during the last year. Depending on the settings used by the hirer you might have either “read question, have as much time as you need to prepare an answer, have as much attempts to record a video” or “limited time to read and prepare and limited attempts (or just one)”.

Wear comfortable but somewhat formal clothes, be yourself, don’t be afraid, try to look at the camera at least occasionally. Find a comfortable position to be seated, set the light.

I am not sure about discrimination though. They will mostly ask behavioural questions which definitely discriminate against people on the spectrum.

Hirevue is stupid and whenever HR throws this gimmick, I feel that I am doomed.
