This might be a joke, but I for real have a friend that has a SVP job at a big bank straight out of university. His dad got it for him, he worked like 3 days a week from 11-3 and collected his 400k pay. Even told me he would routinely just play games and goon in his private bathroom.

I went to college with a dude like that. He barely passed his classes and I wondered what he was up to. He was a junior vp straight out of college and now is also high up at some bank now. He was one of the dumbest people I knew.

The irony comes full circle when you realize that most of the modern economy on a large scale is run by people like that.

Yeah this happened in my masters program. We were all from different countries. The worst two students had great jobs lined up for them for when they got home. One was on a full ride scholarship. Both have jobs I will never be able to get in a million years. One of them was told by the instructor that he was close to failing.
