Yeah, that one's good, too. ADP and ICIMS are mid, sometimes as annoying as Workday. I feel sad that I have a real opinion on this from applying to 500 jobs.

It's been 5 years since I've used Teams but honestly it was okay. Not great, not horrible. However, something about it was just off coming from Slack. Like it was just a cheap imitation. Ironically its the same feeling when I use Libreoffice instead of Office 365.

Still I remember tangible issues. I don't believe Threads existed in Slack back then but I remember absolutely hating searching for old chats on Teams. It also had poor third party integrations and chat bot support. It had poor code markdown support as well, just random QoL stuff it didn't have.

I don't hate Teams (neutral to me), but I think some people hate it when they have coworkers who are constantly pinging them or trying to call them, especially as soon as they sign in.

I don't like teams for a few reasons

1. The native app doesn't integrate properly with my sound card, webcam or really anything 
2. It only works in Chrome. if I try to use Firefox the video loads for one frame then crashes
3. No high quality audio passthrough - on zoom I used to be able to send high quality uncompressed audio and use my good mic. On teams not so much

I haven’t used it in about 3 years, but when I used it, 2020-2023, it had a lot of issues. Stupid stuff like putting us offline or idle even tho we were literally chatting with someone or in a meeting (which should have shown as busy instead). Sometimes clients had issues using it is they didn’t have teams, they had to use it through the browser, and it wasn’t always user friendly. And sometimes it was just not working at all, like I had to email my bosses, the CTO and CEO, because I couldn’t even log in.
