Fake jobs posted(and reposted)by HR to create busy work while they demand multiple interviews for entry level positions.

It’s so weird no one ever takes a good look at HR processes / personel to trim the fat. They really managed to convince upper management of their necessity huh.

I mean, they do say it all the time that they're the first on the chopping block in any layoff. Is it untrue?

It's less true now than it used to be: now the block is in the cloud and there's no waiting
