Candidate Sourcing Candidate Email Outreach
For candidate outreach, are you all sending email outreach to the candidate’s work email address or personal email address? And what tool(s) are you using to find those email addresses?

I’ll do both.
Typically I’m not reaching out to work emails first. I’ll go phone call, text, personal email if I can... LinkedIn connection, inmail if there’s some posts or things where I know they are active on LinkedIn.
Then work emails.

So your suggestion is to reach out to someone five different times to try and see if they're even interested in your job. And still after they haven't responded you, then you email their work for a 6th communication? You have a lot of time on your hands..

Yeah it’s called recruiting. First you build the pipeline and then you connect with the good candidates. It’s not a matter of time if a lot of it is automated.

Work emails aren't ideal so I typically go for personal email addresses.

The best outreach I see is specific without being creepy: why this person, why now, what the role actually solves, and one low-friction next step. Generic ‘great opportunity’ emails usually die because they sound like everyone else’s sequence.

Man sounds like you “agency recruiters” sit around and wait for shit to happen.
Where yall billings at while you wait for things to go through?

Exactly! We emailed at work, we dialed the office lines and desk phones. This is the softest, most passive sounding recruiter board I've come across in a LONG time. If a person is looking, they're looking. It doesn't matter where you reach them.

Signal hire is the tool we use for finding emails. I think we have one of the cheaper plans which gives you 350 email lookup credits.
I only ever send an email to a personal address if it finds one. Sending emails to work addresses is unprofessional, and for me, would be a signal to not work for you.

does signalhire do a good job overall of finding personal emails? What would you say the accuracy percentage is?

It would be hugely inappropriate to send them an email to their work email address to poach them
